Fort Myers Mighty Mussels Beat St. Lucie Mets 6-5 in Sunday Contest

The Mighty Mussels survived a late comeback attempt by the St. Lucie Mets to secure a 6-5 victory on Sunday. The game was played in Port St. Lucie.

The Mets mounted a rally late in the game but fell short of completing the comeback. The Mussels held on for the win to take the series.

This was the third game of the weekend series between the two Florida State League teams. Fort Myers had won Friday's game 6-2 behind four home runs, while Saturday's scheduled contest was postponed and rescheduled for late July.
