Lake Worth Beach will celebrate America's 250th anniversary with its inaugural drone light show during the city's Fourth of July festivities at Bryant Park. The event, expected to draw approximately 10,000 people, will feature 300 drones performing a 15-minute aerial display at 8:45 p.m. Spectators will have the best view of the drone show from Bryant Park while facing southwest. The celebration is free to attend and offers a full day of entertainment for families and visitors.
The evening's entertainment lineup begins at 7 p.m. with a concert by Sekond Nature, followed by a skydiving performance at 7:45 p.m. The All Veteran Group will execute the skydiving performance, which includes a tandem jump by Vice Mayor Mimi May carrying a special American flag commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary. After the skydivers land, Elton and the Jets, an Elton John tribute band, will take the stage for concerts at 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. A traditional fireworks display will conclude the evening at 9 p.m., featuring six minutes of pyrotechnics with more than 11,700 shots.
Earlier activities throughout the day provide additional entertainment options. The Neighborhood Association Presidents' Council will host the Great American Raft Race at noon, offering water-based competition and fun. At 5:30 p.m., the city will hold a hot dog eating contest with six contestants competing for recognition.
Attendees should plan ahead for parking and transportation. The city recommends using ride-share services, with drop-off locations available at Fourth Avenue South and South Lakeside Drive at South Bryant Park. The Lake Worth Beach Bridge will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. to accommodate the anticipated crowd and ensure public safety during the peak entertainment hours.
