Boca Raton homeowner battles My Safe Florida Home grant delays despite completed storm upgrades

Anne Bendel of West Boca Raton completed $8,000 in storm mitigation work on her home and submitted all required documentation for a My Safe Florida Home grant, but her application remains stuck in review. Bendel first contacted WPTV in May when her grant was held up by paperwork from her insurance company, which was eventually resolved.
