Aldi opens first Hobe Sound grocery store July 9 at former Winn-Dixie location

Hobe Sound is getting its first Aldi store when the grocery chain opens July 9 at 8867 SE Bridge Road in the space where Winn-Dixie used to be. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place July 9 at 8:30 a.m.

The first 200 customers will receive a gift bag with Aldi products and a gift card. Aldi has converted multiple Winn-Dixie stores across South Florida over the past few years.

The Hobe Sound Aldi will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The store joins other Aldi locations the company has established in former Winn-Dixie sites throughout the region.

The new grocery store provides Hobe Sound residents with an additional shopping option on SE Bridge Road. Aldi operates as a discount grocer focused on private label products.
