Joseph Gary Harris, 42, and Bryan Shawn Baker, 46, were arrested after fleeing Port St. Lucie police at nearly 80 mph in a 45 mph zone on Southwest Becker Road. Police deployed a K-9 and a drone while officers established a perimeter. Both suspects were located, including one who was found hiding on the roof of an occupied home.
Harris was charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement, burglary of an occupied dwelling, resisting an officer without violence, and loitering or prowling. Baker was charged with resisting an officer without violence and loitering or prowling.
