Ownership
Treasure Coast Today is independently owned and operated by Andrew Dobrow, its founder and publisher. It is a sole proprietorship with a single owner. There is no parent company, no corporate group, and no outside ownership stake in the publication.
Funding
Treasure Coast Today is personally funded by its owner and supported by advertising. It has no outside investors, grants, or financial backers, and it is not funded by any political party, campaign, government agency or advocacy organization.
Advertising and independence
Advertising revenue helps keep Treasure Coast Today free to read, with no paywall. Advertising is kept separate from editorial decisions. Advertisers do not receive news coverage in exchange for their business, and buying an ad does not influence whether or how we report on a person, business or organization. Advertisements are identified as such.
Our independence
Because we answer to no parent company and no investors, our coverage decisions are our own. We are accountable to our readers on the Treasure Coast, and to the standards described on our Editorial Standards page.
