St. Lucie Mets pitcher Conner Ware has been named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week for July 20-26, Minor League Baseball announced Monday.

Ware made two appearances against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels at Clover Park, starting Tuesday and returning for a relief outing Sunday. The left-hander combined to throw seven scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters.

The Mets won both games in which Ware appeared. He earned the victory Sunday after pitching four scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk and recording a career-high eight strikeouts as St. Lucie rallied for an 11-8 win.

Ware, 22, was selected by the New York Mets in the 15th round of the 2025 MLB Draft out of LSU. He made his professional debut with St. Lucie in April and has remained with the team throughout the season.
