The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office recently searched the Indian River Estates home of Laura Grasso as part of its ongoing investigation into the Southern Truss fraud case. According to investigators, Grasso and two other employees are accused of stealing approximately $7 million from Southern Truss over a seven-year period. Detectives say the money was allegedly used for personal expenses, including luxury vacations, jewelry purchases and high-end vehicles.

Grasso is facing multiple charges, including grand theft and racketeering. Authorities say the search warrant was executed to gather additional evidence connected to the case as the investigation moves forward. The investigation remains active, and authorities have not released additional details about the evidence collected during the search. Southern Truss is a truss manufacturing company based in St. Lucie County.
