Stuart voters may decide fate of Haney Creek commercial parcel in November referendum

The Stuart City Commission voted August 10 to have staff return with a resolution for a November referendum that would let voters undo a 2011 referendum. The 2011 vote set aside a two-acre commercial parcel near Haney Creek as a potential revenue source to help fund maintenance of the adjoining preserve. The commission will vote August 17
