Fort Pierce approves $183,200 pilot program for two code enforcement officers in redevelopment areas

The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency voted unanimously on Aug. 11 to approve an interlocal funding agreement with the city for a yearlong pilot program that will employ two new code enforcement officers to work solely in community redevelopment areas of Fort Pierce. The first year of the program will cost up to $183,200.
