Fort Pierce faces legal vacancy after Daniel McIntyre declines interim city attorney job

Fort Pierce will have no head city attorney beginning Sept. 11 after former St. Lucie County government attorney Daniel McIntyre turned down the city's offer to serve as interim municipal counsel. The Fort Pierce City Commission has called a special meeting for 9 a.m. Monday at City Hall to determine its next steps.
