The Lakeland Flying Tigers defeated the St. Lucie Mets 6-3 on Friday night at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie. The loss extended the Mets' losing streak to seven consecutive games and marked their 11th loss in the last 12 games. Lakeland scored the first four runs of the game before the Mets mounted a late rally.
