Two people and a dog safely escaped a garage fire Monday morning in Jensen Beach after firefighters quickly contained the blaze, according to Martin County Fire Rescue. The fire was reported just after 6:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Northeast Cypress Lane. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the garage of the home.
