The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man shot and injured a dog that charged at him during a confrontation Sunday in Indian River Estates. Investigators are reviewing surveillance video and interviewing independent witnesses as they work to determine exactly what happened in the 5900 block of Palm Drive.
