Two people were rescued from a rip current at Hobe Sound Beach on Sunday morning, according to Martin County Fire Rescue.
The water emergency occurred on September 27, with the rescue taking place just before 11 a.m. Martin County Fire Rescue responded to the incident at the beach on the Treasure Coast.
Fire rescue officials confirmed
