The King's Landing development project in downtown Fort Pierce is advancing, with construction milestones bringing excitement to the community and local business owners. Brooke Harris, Team Lead of the Beachfront Brooke Team powered by Keller Williams Realty, said two residences have been sold and are nearing completion. The project features ten luxury villas, condos, retail spaces, restaurants, a parking garage, and a hotel in the waterfront district near the city marina and historic downtown.

Michelle Chaffee Cavalcanti, executive director of Main Street Fort Pierce, highlighted the significance of the development for the city. The project has the potential to impact local businesses by bringing in visitors and giving families a place to stay when they visit. Business owners are optimistic about having more residents in the downtown area, especially with most amenities within walking distance.

Officials said the estimated completion date is November 2029. Harris said the Marriott Hotel has signed an agreement for the development, which will connect downtown to Edgartown and provide walkability to shopping, restaurants, and retail.
