Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a death warrant for William Reaves Jr., setting an execution date of Oct. 20 for the 77-year-old man convicted of murdering Indian River County Sheriff's Deputy Richard Raczkoski in 1986. The execution is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Florida State Prison in Raiford, 40 years after the deputy's death.
